At Pinky Promises, everything revolves around meaning. Our jewelry tells a story. A memory. A promise. And when something means that much, you want it to last. That’s why we consciously choose materials that are not only beautiful, but also strong, sustainable, and of high quality. In this blog, we’re giving you a closer look at the materials behind our jewelry, and how they’re made to stay beautiful for now, and for years to come.
Meaningful jewelry starts with high quality materials
When you make a promise, you want it to last. The same goes for the piece of jewelry that symbolises it. Whether it’s a promise to yourself, to grow, to believe, to stay true. Or a shared promise with someone dear, our materials help you carry that meaning with you every single day.
18k gold vermeil
Our gold pieces are made from recycled 925 sterling silver and finished with an extra thick layer of 18k solid gold. This layer is at least 2.5 microns thick, which is five times thicker than regular gold plating.
What does that mean? Your jewelry holds onto its golden glow much longer and is more resistant to wear. A beautiful reminder, ready to shine with you every time you wear it.
925 sterling silver
Our silver pieces are crafted from recycled 925 sterling silver. That means they consist of 92.5% pure silver, blended with other metals for added strength. The result: a timeless material with a soft shine that’s lightweight, durable, and easy to wear every day.
Silver is classic and versatile, but most of all, it’s made to last. Just like the promises our jewelry represents.
Made to hold on to what matters most
At Pinky Promises, we create jewelry that keeps your most precious moments, dreams, and connections close. Because those memories deserve pieces that reflect their value.
So whether you're making your very first promise or your next, know that your piece is ready to carry that promise with you, every single day.
